This is Dixit version 0.2

# Dicom data

The dicom data is found under the dicom/-folder. The folders under dicom/
contain the dicom sequence images for each of the finnish vowels (a,e,i,o,u,y,ä
and ö). The sequence images form a 3D MRI image.

This data can be examined using many freely available tools. 3D Slicer
(http://www.slicer.org/) is a free and open source software package that can be
used for examining the images. For a programmatic examination there are tools
for reading DICOM-file in, e.g, python (pydicom), MATLAB (dicomread), VTK and
many others.

# Surface model

Surface models can be found under surface/-folder. They have been produced by
extracting the air-tissue interface from the above mentioned DICOM data and
removing the artefacts caused by the teeth and jaw bones not showing in the MR
image.

# Sound data

The corresponding sound data is found under the sound/-folder. For this pilot
dataset the wav-files only contain a single audiotrack measured from inside the
MRI machine.
